friends

I hate saying goodbyes. Not those normal goodbyes. The ones that you say goodbye knowing that you won't be saying hello to that person again or maybe it just won't ever be the same. I know things change just like the ever changing seasons. Wouldn't it be nice to stay the same all the time. Saying goodbye to a friend isn't a easy task for me. People come and go. It got me thinking, how did me and some friends became this 'hello and goodbye' friends? How did we go from good friends to total strangers? Strange. I'm really fortunate to have lots of wonderful friends. One thing for sure is that I will never forget all the fun and sad moments I shared with them. In the future I'll probably say to my son "Son, do you want to hear a story about wonderful people dad got to know?" Okay I'm getting a little carried away.

"Say goodnight, not goodbye,"
But sometimes, that's a lie;
Say goodbye, not goodnight,
'Cause sometimes it's not right.
Leave your heart, use your mind,
Move onward don't look behind,
Morning comes, morning goes,
Sun moves on the path it chose.
So get up, don't stay down,
Smile and don't you ever frown,
Say goodbye, not goodnight,
'Cause from now, you'll be alright.

Hello to whoever reads my blog. Got a little sidetrack, I'm still half way done with the post. Check out this video.

haha!

"Many of them claim they just want to date a nice guy, but when presented with such a specimen, they say irrational, confusing things such as “oh, he’s too nice to date” or “he would be a good boyfriend but he’s not for me” or “he already puts up with so much from me, I couldn’t possibly ask him out!” or the most frustrating of all: “no, it would ruin our friendship.” Yet, they continue to lament the lack of datable men in the world, and they expect their too-nice-to-date male friends to sympathize and apologize for the men that are jerks.

Sorry, guys, girls like that are beyond my ability to fathom. I can’t figure out why the connection breaks down between what they say (I want a nice guy!) and what they do (I’m going to sleep with this complete ass now!). But one thing I can do, is say that the nice-guy-finishes-last phenomenon doesn’t last forever. There are definitely many girls who grow out of that train of thought and realize they should be dating the nice guys, not taking them for granted. The tricky part is finding those girls, and even trickier, finding the ones that are single."

Hmmm.

Time to move onnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

will be right back

Once upon a time, a group of Ah Bengs stepped into a lounge and wanted
the DJ to play the song "Ah Cheng Buey Ro Ti"
(In Hokkien means Ah Cheng buys bread).

The DJ told them that they only have English songs and told them to
re-select another song.
The Ah Bengs were very angry and kicked up a big fuss claiming the DJ
was insulting them.
The manager had to intervene in order to calm them down.

Finally after a long talk with Ah Bengs, the manager found out that they
were actually asking for the song "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous
Brothers.

Hahaha!
Will be right back with a proper post, really!
